Sober Living & Halfway Houses Best Recovery Residence in Atlanta

New Beginning Recovery Review

However, most halfway homes have the goal of supporting you to recovery through a structured environment. They offer a higher level of focus on social support, giving you someone to talk to and help you. They also provide the same types of services most sober homes do, such as helping you to make it to 12-step meetings and teaching you life skills.

These locations do not provide specific addiction treatment, so you should continue to see your outpatient counselors for this. The programs within them also differ from one location to the next. Most often, a sober home will help you by providing on-site or nearby 12-step programs.

Services

We offer peer support, encouragement, and a safe stable environment for people as they grow and learn how to thrive in our community! Each New Beginning Recovery Review has a dedicated house manager whose responsibility is to ensure the well being of the house occupants. All with at least one year of sobriety, the house managers show a commitment to working a 12-step program in their daily lives, and demonstrate through their actions that they can lead by example. Typically having gone through one of the sober houses, house managers encourage house members to talk about what is going on with their lives and recovery, and to help house residents to be accountable to one another.
